Alan Hambrook - Chairman
Alan started his first software company in 1981 and since then has founded, built and run a number of successful, multi-national software companies specialising in complex, packaged software products. He co-founded the Dodge Group in 1991, followed by the banking systems and analytics company Aleri Inc in 1998 where he was CEO and Chairman until 2004. Alan is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Zoral. He is also Chairman of Future Route Limited (www.futureroute.co.uk Inductive Logic Programming and behavioural analytics) and non-executive director of Prevx Limited (www.prevx.com behavioural malware detection).
Kieron O‘Brien - Chief Executive
CEO One of the founders of PacketExchange, Kieron has also served as CEO since the company‘s foundation. Before that, as a founder member of Level 3 Communications' European team, focusing on technical direction and implementation, Kieron was responsible for establishing Level 3 International‘s presence in Europe. His earlier career included 10 years with Alcatel, where his responsibilities ranged from R&D in Transport Networking to Business Development with MFS and WorldCom, he also worked with Philips and prior to that spent 7 years in the Army.
Chris Verdin - Chief Financial Officer
CFO Chris joined PacketExchange in January 2006. He is a Chartered Accountant with 10 years board-level experience of emerging companies in the UK, EU and US. Immediately prior to joining PacketExchange Chris was Group Finance Director at an international firm of head hunters for venture-backed companies in the TMT sectors where he helped establish and grow the US operation of the group and prior to that he was based in Madrid where he managed the public share offering of a leading Spanish internet portal.
Mike Ing - Chief Operating Officer
Since joining Packetexchange as Chief Operating Officer in 2005, Mike has taken over the day to day running of the business operations, with responsibility for hitting the end to end business goals. Prior to joining Packetexchange, Mike worked for Level 3 Communications, where he held a number of senior posts, spending 2 years working in the HQ in Denver, Colorado, running the Global Customer Services function, playing a key role in the integration of acquisitions, and running the softswitch engineering group. Mike returned to Europe in 2004 to run European Operations.
Prior to working for Level 3, Mike worked for Cable and Wireless in the field of submarine cables, leading the team responsible for engineering, procuring and delivering major cable systems world wide. Mike is a graduate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, with further qualifications in Telecomms from Essex University and in management from INSEAD.

Simon Cook (Esprit Capital Partners LLP)
Simon was also instrumental in the formation of Esprit, leading the merger from his position with Cazenove Private Equity which he joined in November 2001. He has over 10 years venture capital experience and was previously a partner with Elderstreet Investments Ltd and a Director at 3i Cambridge. He has been involved with a number of successful high tech UK start-ups including Cambridge Silicon Radio, Virata, nCipher and KVS. Simon is now responsible for Esprit¹s investments in LOVEFiLM International, PacketExchange, Clearswift and Callserve.
Prior to venture capital, Simon worked as a strategy and IT consultant at KPMG and as a computer games developer, and graduated from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST).
Colin Williams
Colin Williams is Executive Vice President, Global Services and Systems of Level 3 Communications, Inc. Prior to this, he was Chairman of WorldCom International, where he was responsible from January 1997 for the company‘s international business and the development and operation of WorldCom‘s overseas fiber networks. In 1993, Mr. Williams initiated and built the international operations of MFS Communications, which merged with WorldCom Inc. in December 1996.
